I Robot

 "I Robot" is a film that tells of the lives that have been dependent on Robot NS 5. Robots working as an assistant and work doing household chores. In the film, the robot is bound by laws that limit the movement of the robot, ie

1) A robot may not injure a human being or, through Inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.

2) A robot must obey orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.

3) A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.

I Robot was set in 2035 in the city of Chicago, USA. The story begins with the death of Dr. Alfred Lanning, the creator of robot who allegedly committed suicide in the apartment. Detective Spooner (Will Smith) suspects that the death of Dr. Alfred Lanning's not suicide, but was murdered. The suspicion addressed to one of the robot because the robot is in the room. The robot is controlled from the company's super computer VIKI (Virtual Interactive Kinetic Intelligence).

I think the movie is quite good. Describing the development of future technologies that could help people's lives everyday. In this film already evident human interaction with computers. The interaction between robots and humans are pretty good. This movie can make the audience imagine the future that depends entirely on the robot. as if all the work can be done by robots. however, it can all be controlled by a computer system that can be controlled by humans. because the computer system was made to help people. But, do not exceed the sophistication of the human robot. Therefore, when the robot system error occurred and damaged, would result in impacts as told in the film.
